The process of manually scraping moss and debris from tiles using wire brushes and scrapers that are designed to fit the shape of all tiles.
Once we have finished this technique, we will apply a biocide treatment to the roof area, killing any remaining moss and debris.
The treatment will continue to clean the roof over time. You will start to see the full results from the clean after a couple of months, preventing any re-growth for up to 5 years.
The roof scraping technique is particularly good for delicate Kent Peg tiles, or if you would prefer absolutely no pressure on the roof at all.
The roof steam cleaning system is designed to gently remove moss and lichen from tiles, using a flat surface cleaner and steam to completely clean the surface of the roof.
The surface cleaner is designed to use only a small amount of pressure on a wider circumference, avoiding roof damage and water ingress which you would get with using a conventional pressure washer nozzle.
Unlike the scraping method, the steam cleaner leaves absolutely nothing behind and you will see immediate results.
Once cleaned, we also apply a biocide chemical to prevent growth for up to 5 years.
Depending on the roof height, we can either use a roof ladder or assemble a tower scaffolding.
All roof cleans will have a full gutter clearance and biocide treatment which will kill all organic growth on the roof and stop regrowth for over 2 years.
Serving in and around the East-Kent area.
